Born in Havana, Yordan Silvera attended the Cuban National Academy of the Art, San Alejandro, and majored in painting. In 2003 Silvera moved to the United States where he attended and graduated from the Corcoran College of Art+Design majoring in Graphic Design, and being awarded with a full scholarship.
He has worked with many international and local clients including: Tasty Concepts Design Studio, The Ritz-Carlton Hotels, The DC Jefferson Hotel, Marriott Hotels, Think Food Group, Fogo de Chao, Talenti Gelato e Sorbetto, DC Central Kitchen, Allegis Group, Aerotek, TEKSystems, Major Lindsey & Africa, Stephen James, and more.
Silveras work combines his graphic design skills with a fine art aesthetic. He has been influenced by his experience in USA and his origins in Cuba. Both his design and his fine art, are vibrant and organic. Yet, Silvera is not limited by a rigid approach to every design problem. Each of his solutions is fresh, relevant, and unique.
